Merry Christmas!

Here are the pictures I promised from our Thanksgiving lunch with friends and our "Turkey bowl" flag football game! Hope you enjoy!!

This is our gathering for the Thanksgiving feast!
Us in our "Turkey Bowl" shirts!  :)
The Gentlemen!

The Ladies!!
This is the group of Turkey bowlers! Most played, some were spectators. We had a blast!

On to the present: We are officially out of school for 3 weeks on Christmas break! Our first semester at Rosslyn went very well. It wasn't without stress or frustration, but that was to be expected with all of the newness we experienced. Ed is settled into his job quite nicely and I feel like I am getting the hang of mine. Being here in Nairobi is becoming more and more normal to us. We are realizing that Christmas time is a hard time to be so far away from family. Please keep us in your prayers that our homesickness during this time will be a minimum. We are blessed to be able to spend Christmas dinner with some friends and their parents who came over. I will fill you in on all of those details after Christmas. I pray that you all have a wonderful Christmas celebrating the birth of our Savior! God bless!!

Dear Ed
We have waatched you growup over the years, coached you one year in baseball and watched all those junior high ball games as you and Russell led your teams against each other. I have heard from time to time a small part of what was going on in your fife after dyou Mom and Dad joined FBC in Vernon. You have since we have known youbeen a very special young man. You are obviously a young man of high principles, and high intellect, but more important you gave dyour life to Christ and continue to ser5ve Him. We sere not really surprised to hear you and Tricia were going over seas to teach in a Christian school, and you will be gone for three years. You must also have married a special young lady Lois and I want to say we are very thankful for fyou and Tricia. We get a sense of Joy knowing our LOrd is still callaing out young people like ya'll. We want you to know we have been praying for you for several years, I am not reall sure when we started but we are committing to pray for both of you while you are gone over seas, for our Lord to guide, protect, and give you both wisdom and discernment in your jobs and in any ministry opportunities you will be involved in. If you have need of more specific prayers now or later let us know thru your parents, or by email and we will take them before our Lord. GOD BLESS YOU BOTH

Hold fast to Christ
